The S 1000 R, BMW’s hyper naked bike, now boasts an even more powerful inline-four engine delivering 125 kW (170 hp). A shorter final drive ratio improves sprint performance, while the upgraded standard Shift Assistant Pro ensures even smoother gear shifts. Coupled with the new M short-stroke throttle, this creates a more dynamic setup with noticeably better acceleration in all situations. Additionally, the traction control (DTC) system has been enhanced with revisions from the M 1000 R, further boosting the bike’s overall performance.
